How emotional & great this documentary was. I truly felt for Louie & the guys. Everyone should be accepted as human beings & those that oppose it are so vicious & cruel. @Seekers Crime - You're making the prosecution's case. There is good information here and some points I wasn't aware of but clearly very-biased, not at all objective. You're attempting to influence our opinions in a certain direction. That's why it's critical everyone watch the entire trial and all the testimonies - not rely on very biased commentators. It's not about excuse - it's about reasonable doubt. All the testimonies corroborate that their parents were psychopaths who had motive to murder them and signs that they were going to were there. That's reasonable doubt. Secondly, the prosecution ADMITTED themselves they had to win this case at all costs because of the pressure that is put upon them to win trials. They were on a losing streak. The whole justice system is exactly the way that Jose raised his sons - win at all costs, win at the expense of ethics. That's why any information related to their abuse was dismissed in the second trial. Who came up with abuse excuse ? Dershowitz, a known defender of Epstein's sex-trafficking, political and powerful compromisers. Why was that trial not made public? Because the system protects high level political compromisers - just like Jose Menendez whose motto was WIN AT ALL COST - who had come from a Communist country. Jose was planning on running for office and he was grooming Lyle to run for office. A man who decapitates the dog is a psychopath. It sounds like Jose set Kitty up to tell Oziel that the boys were psychopaths, so they could murder them and claim that it was self-defense. They wanted to do away with the boys, so they wouldn't interfere with their goals by going public with the abuse. Jose and Kitty were obsessed with image, power. They were Machiavellian ambitious. They weren't going to let the boys get in the way. Kitty didn't want the boys. All the testimonies indicate so. Kitty wanted to abort. Jose told her to have them or leave. Jose told Erik he would murder his brother if he came out and blame Erik for it. The boys acted in self-defense. You don't get that many witnesses to corroborate your story if you're lying. Jose was the one paying people off. He had the money, the power, the connections to do so. They knew something was up, and they were absolutely right. They believed both parents were planning on murdering them, and the behaviors and actions of both - indicated so, but, alas, when winning matters, truth doesn't. Not only were they born into a family of two formidable psychopaths, the whole justice system was rigged against them. If Kitty had lived, she would given her version of events - which would be to incriminate the boys.

The I.D. thing is understandable.  If it's not her then you don't know if she's been tested.  The pimp thing?  What self-respecting director would even let a pimp on set?

With the Internet in its current state i have no clue if this is true or not

I've read stories lamenting the loss of gay bars in some cities. They aren't needed as gays feel more comfortable in more bars, and apps and changing attitudes make meeting each other easier outside of gay bars. When I lived in DC the alternative newspaper ran an article exploring whether the gentification of gayborhoods by straights and those with young families was a measure of success or decline. I'm in the success camp. The times they are a-changin'.
